The positive and negative space between the lines really make your eyes go towards what's through the bridge.The lines in the bridge and the shadows reflecting from it are all symmetrical and really make your eyes move from the front to the back. The negative space is the focal point because that's what your eye is drawn to. It has gradation when you look further into the photograph it gradually gets smaller.
