2) Objective criticism is based on direct observation and the discussion is straight forward and other solutions are shared. Subjective criticism is when the discussion focuses on the subject and content of the design including the meaning of the work and the artists intent. We will mainly use objective criticism because it will help us learn from each other and we can give our ideas to help other peoples work.
3) A cause and effect critique builds on a descriptive one because it goes into more detail about why something has a certain look. For example from the reading: the design is primarily composed of diagonals would be descriptive. using cause and effect you would say because of the diagonals the design is very dynamic.
4) The value of holding a critique at the end of the project is to help each other out in the class and give out ideas to improve our work.
